About

Central California ASA Youth Program

Central California ASA has one of the top 10 youth softball programs in the nation, registering over 10,000 youth players, in 40+ youth leagues, covering 10 Central California Counties for the sport of fast pitch softball. Our programs have players as young as 4 and as old as 18 with skill levels ranging from never played before to college player. With each league independently operated, Central California ASA provides the training, guidance and assistance necessary to each league to ensure every player receives a fair and quality experience.

Thousands of our past players have went on to play softball at the best colleges in the country and other have won medals in Olympic softball. Many have come back to pass their skills on to today’s youth as coaches and mentors.

One of the larger parts of our program is the summer tournament season. Central California ASA sanctions over 40 tournaments each summer in all three classifications (A, B and C) that provide a competitive twist to the leagues. These tournaments are held throughout our area and have something for every team every weekend of the season. Some of our tournaments are qualifying tournaments. These tournaments qualify the top teams to advance in championship play which then gives them the shot at becoming the best team in the nation. Dozens of our top teams travel the country looking to be called that all elusive “best team in the nation”.
