Web Site Address

Effective immediately, travelball.com is no longer associated with Central California ASA.

For the past two years travelball.com was being auto forwarded to http://www.centralcalasa.com/wp/ so we can get everything consolidated into one site.   One of those steps was to remove travelball.com.  Nothing has changed other than the auto forwarding.

Thanks
Dave Forte

2012 CCASA JO Workshop Info

The 2012 Workshop is fast approaching.  ”A” teams should send a representative to the “A” session.  Here’s the agenda

ASA/USA National Berth Allocation — 2012

Central California ASA will be receiving 3 berths to the GFP-A ASA/USA National Championship Finals in the following age groups:  18U, 16U, 14U and 12U.  The berths will be distributed at the 2012 Association Championships and in accordance with CCASA policy.

Gold Classifier Results

Congratulations Central California Dirt Dogs, Central California Krush and Fresno Force for earning the “Gold” option for 2012.

Gold Classifier Update

The 2012 Gold Classifier should be a go.  We did drop down t 5 teams so you need to review the updated bracket.   Teams need to comply with all the rules posted at the bottom of the bracket sheet.

See you on Saturday

Gold Classifier Brackets Set

The brackets are set for 11/12-11/13, however weather could postpone the event and teams should stay close to this site AND their e-mail for any changes.  The fee will be set in the next day or so and teams will receive e-mails soon after.

Only the top 3 teams will be offered the Gold classification.

Good Luck!

2012 Gold Classifier

I show that 6 teams will participate in the ’12 Gold Classifier [Clovis Rockets, Central California Dirt Dogs, Central California Krush, California Aftershock, California Velocity, Fresno Force].  The Classifier is scheduled for November 12-13 at the Buchanan Softball Complex, weather permitting and will be in the round robin format with first game around 11 am.  The cost of the classifier will be determined by expenses divided by teams.  I will have that number soon and should be around $300.

All coaches and players must be registered.  Should any coach or player not have an ID card they must contact Jeff Dean ASAP.  RegisterASA is down for maintenance so stragglers will need to be hand inputted by Jeff.

I will provide rules and team requirements via e-mail.

2011 ACE Requirements

Each team must have at least one adult ACE certified in the dugout.  That is a lower requirements then in previous years.  The ACE certified adult must also be ASA registered and have an ASA photo ID card.  Don’t wait until the last minute to meet these requirements.

16U/18U Registrations

16U and 18U teams need to get registered ASAP.  The new ASA policy requires that ALL adults on the field have their RegisterASA ID card hanging around their neck.  Obtaining the card is not a quick process and you need to get started NOW!!!  If you have questions please contact Jeff Dean.

Invoice Mailing Address Change

All registrations invoices have our Paso Robles P.O. Box as the mailing address to remit payment to.  This was set up for the Rec leagues and ASA cannot separate invoices by registration type.  I ask that all “A” invoices be mailed to Jeff Dean at:

CCASA C/o Jeff Dean
780 Camino Caballo
Nipomo, CA 93444

Thank you for your assistance on this.
