Registration – Time to HUSTLE!!!

Coaches,

All of you have been great dealing with the new system, but now it’s our turn.  Please make sure all your issues are complete before calling or E-Mailing us.  Only completing a few items and telling us your done is just another step neither of us needs to take and is really slowing down the approval process.  When you think you are all done with the items I said need to be done or items the system has listed, check the issues on your team one last time and make sure you have [...]

Is Your Team Really Registered and Ready for the Association Championships?

It is CRITICAL that all teams log on to your RegisterASA.com “Homeplate” and make sure your 3 indicators are as follows:

Status : Approved
Issues : No
Roster Type: Championship

If they are not you must contact Jeff Dean immediately.

Updated Team List

I have updated the team list. It is important that everyone looks to see if it is correct. All questions need to be directed to Jeff Dean ASAP!

Important Date: 10U, 12U and 14U Registration Deadlines

As per policy; all 10U, 12U and 14U “A” travel teams must be registered by February 15th.   Go to the registration section of this web site and view the registration guide.  All teams should also be familar with the “GFP-A Travel Team Policy”, also located on this web site.

Register with RegisterASA.com

For 2010, ASA has their own registration program. The use of Virtual Tournament Director, VTD or Fastpitchsoftball.net are no longer an option.  The new RegisterASA.com site still has several issues, however, we may be able to muddle through it until ALL the bugs are worked out.

I have created a User Guide to help you along.

On the above menu bar, click “Youth” / “A” Travel [GFP-A] / Registration – [GFP-A]

“Gold” Classifier Schedule

Weather permitting, here is the schedule … View

2010 JO Workshop Agenda Set

All teams should send a representative to the “GFP-A Workshop” portion of the meeting.

Here’s the agenda:

Valley
Coast

See you there…

10U, 12U and 14U Registration Deadlines

As per policy; all 10U, 12U and 14U “A” travel teams must be registered by February 1st.  Because of RegisterASA issues, I will extend that deadline to February 15th and that will be the only extension.

All “A” teams should be familiar with the “GFP-A Travel Team Policy” located on this web site.

“Gold” Classifier Info

It looks like we will have 7 teams for the classifier … California Stars, Fresno Force, Valley Gold, Central California Dirt Dogs, California Velocity, Central California Krush and the Clovis Rockets.  The deadline has not come yet but I don’t expect any others.

Here’s the plan:

Saturday the 23rd – 2:00, 4:00 and 7:00 or 8:00
Sunday the 24th – 10:00, 12:00, 3:00 and 5:00 or 6:00

Each team will receive one bye in the round robin.  This means that teams will either have 3 games on Saturday and three on Sunday or they will have 2 games on Saturday and 4 on Sunday.  [...]

2010 “A” Registration Open – Sort of

The new ASA registration program is open for business.  It still has a lot of bugs but you may be able to work through it. Please remember that it is changing daily and may be different tomorrow.

I have posted a guide that should get you going. It is located here under “Youth” / “A” Travel [GFP-A] / Registration – GFP-A

Any team needing assistance should contact Jeff Dean.
